CIP Summer Program

Summer in Berkeley is Really the Place to Be!

Welcome to CIP's Summer Program 2009 located within the University of California's Berkeley campus. Students ages sixteen to nineteen will have a unique opportunity to learn valuable skills that are necessary for making a well-prepared transition from high school to college or while pursuing vocational interests. Participants will have many chances to practice their new skills in a supported environment where they can feel successful and build their self-confidence at the same time.

During our two busy weeks together, students will be introduced to CIP's comprehensive curriculum, develop goals through the person-centered planning process and practice independent living skills. They will also have many opportunities to build new friendships and have plenty of fun.

Berkeley, California is a relaxed, eclectic, compact, educated and culturally rich setting. Being on the UCB campus provides a safe environment, collegiate feel and beautiful west coast surroundings where exciting and diverse activities abound.
